Disclosed are 6-(2,6-difluoro-phenyl)-triazolopyrimidines of formula I, wherein: R1 and R2 are independently H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkadineyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl, naphthyl, heterocyclyl, or heteroaryl, and are optionally substituted, R1 and R2 may together form an optionally substituted heterocyclic ring, X is halogen, cyano, alkoxy, haloalkoxy or alkenyloxy. The compounds are used in a method for controlling phytopathogenic fungi, comprising treating the fungi, materials, plants, soil or seed with an effective amount of the compounds.
