<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device capable of restraining variation of a flow-rate characteristic of a flow control valve. <P>SOLUTION: This power steering device is provided with a supply passage 2 for guiding an operation fluid delivered from a pump 1 to a power steering output part 8, a variable throttle valve 3 intervening in the middle way of the supply passage 2, and a flow-rate adjusting valve 4 for returning the operation fluid of the supply passage 2 to a pump suction side in accordance with a differential pressure before and after of the variable throttle valve 3; and assists steering force of wheels by the power steering output part 8. The variable throttle valve 3 is provided with a supply port 34 intervening in the middle way of the supply passage 2, a sleeve 41 for varying an opening area of the supply port 34, and a spring 42 for energizing the sleeve 41 to an opening direction of the supply port 34. The sleeve 41 is moved to a position wherein the differential pressure before and after of the supply port 34 and the spring force of the spring 42 are balanced, and opening of the variable throttle valve 3 is adjusted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
