<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in selecting one of multiple Walsh transform correlation values. <P>SOLUTION: A phase rotation unit 40 rotates the phase of a digital received signal 200 in accordance with a correction signal from a correction determination unit 58. An FWT computation unit 50 subjects a CCK modulated signal to FWT computation and outputs Walsh transform values FWT. A maximum value searching unit 52 inputs 64 Walsh transform values FWT and selects one of them by referring to the magnitude thereof. In accordance with the selected Walsh transform value FWT, the maximum value searching unit outputs aϕ1 signal 208 and aϕcomponent signal 210, theϕ1 signal 208 corresponding to the signal prior toϕ1 differential detection and theϕcomponent signal 210 being a combination ofϕ2 throughϕ4. Aϕ1 demodulation unit 54 subjects theϕ1 signal 208 to differential detection so as to generateϕ1.
