<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an image quality is deteriorated without positioning accurately at a high speed by detecting certainly a load change due to a stationary load change and an aging change. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus calculates a mean value of PWM control values when a DC servo motor 31 for moving a conveying belt 21 from a PWM control arithmetic unit 112 is controlled at a constant speed by a mean value calculator 122 by inputting the PWM control values several times by a PWM history input holder 121, compares its mean value with a value corresponding to the drive load assumed previously by a comparator 123, judges the magnitude of the stationary load at the constant speed control time, resets the integrated component when the PID control amount based on this judged result is calculated, thereby, sets the PID control amount of decelerating control in response to the load change at the constant speed control time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
