The use of an anti-microtubule agent, such as epothilone A or B, discodermolide, deuterium oxide, hexylene glycol, tubercidin, LY290181, aluminium fluoride, ethylene glycol bis-(succinimidylsuccinate) or glycine ethyl ester, for the manufacture of a medicament for treating or preventing arthritis is disclosed.
