<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change delivery pressure-intake pressure characteristics at low cost in an internal variable control type control valve for a variable displacement compressor constructed not to increase intake pressure when delivery pressure is low. <P>SOLUTION: In a valve body 20 of the control valve 11 for the variable displacement compressor, a body 21 having a valve mechanism stored therein and a pressure regulation part 50 provided with a pressure sensing rod 52 are easily separably constructed via a fastening part. Accordingly, the delivery pressure-intake pressure characteristics of the control valve 11 for the variable displacement compressor can be changed according to specifications by removing the pressure regulation part 50 from the valve body 20 if needed and replace the same with a new pressure regulation part having different pressurized area of the pressure sensing rod.
