IMAGING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING IMAGE QUALITY OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to decrease the time required for starting a polygon motor in the initial operation when power is turned on, and thereby to enable the initial operation of a printer section 12 and that of the entire color copying machine 1 to be shortened.

SOLUTION: The control for maintaining image quality in the initial operation when power is turned on is adapted to be performed at a lower resolution than that used for usual imaging processing by using a pattern in which the control for maintaining an image quality can be performed at a lower resolution than that used for usual imaging processing.
