Waste tank is fitted with a suction pipe (2) for emptying it, fixed in place inside a sleeve (17) inside the tank. The pipe has one or more external surface projections (21) such as rivet heads or a welded plastic ring and is fitted in the sleeve before the latter has cooled so that the sleeve fits exactly over the projections and forms and inseparable joint. The procedure for making the tank consists of molding the tank itself, forming the locking projection(s) on the tube, assembling the tube with the sleeve before it cools to ensure a tight fit, and cooling the tank. |
