The invention relates to a membrane for the tangential filtration of a fluid. The inventive membrane comprises a porous support (2) which defines at least one flow channel (3) for the fluid flowing in a given direction (f) between an inlet (6) and an outlet (7). Moreover, the inner surface (4) of the porous support (2) defining the channel (3) is covered with at least one separation layer (5) for the fluid. The invention is characterised in that the support comprises variable partial clogging (c) which extends from the inner surface (4) of the support, comprising the separation surface. According to the invention, the aforementioned clogging creates an average porosity gradient on a section (8) of the support (2), extending from the inner surface (4) thereof and having a given constant section (e), the minimum average porosity being located at the inlet (6) and the maximum average porosity being located at the outlet (7).
