PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a donor substrate for laser transfer not causing the breakage of the other active material or the inclusion of impurities while dispensing with an excessive mask process by using a thermosetting polymer, and an organic electroluminescence element using it.
SOLUTION: This donor substrate for laser transfer comprises a base material film, a photothermal conversion layer formed on the base material film, and a transfer layer composed of an organic material formed on the photothermal conversion layer, the transfer layer containing a thermosetting field emitting material. The organic electroluminescence element is manufactured by use of this substrate. By this, since R, G and B emitting layers are easily formed with minute patterns by a thermosetting process after laser transfer, breakages of light emitting layers can be eliminated. Further, since the mask process is reduced, the manufacturing cost of a full-color organic electroluminescence element can be saved, and this substrate is advantageous, particularly, for the manufacturing of a large-sized organic electroluminescence element.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
