<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product history management system for realizing the simplification of the system of a product, and for reducing the manufacturing costs of the product. <P>SOLUTION: History information related with a copying machine 4 is generated based on the operation of an operator to an information inputting device 6 connected to a copying machine 4 being a product having a storage part, and the generated history information is written in the storage part of the copying machine 4. The history information is written in the product main body of the copying machine 4 by using an information inputting device 6 being a terminal different from the copying machine 4 so that it is not necessary to provide any complicate system for product history management for each of the plurality of copying machine 4, and that it is possible to realize the simplification of the system of the copying machine 4, and to reduce the manufacturing costs of the product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
