<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer where a fixing condition for reproducing appropriate glossiness for each of various kinds of recording papers can be easily set, and to provide a fixing condition setting method. <P>SOLUTION: In response to one chart forming instruction from an operating/display part 1, the glossiness chart for adjusting the glossiness of an image formed on the recording paper is formed by an image forming part 120, transferred onto the recording paper and primarily fixed by a primary fixation part 140, thereafter, the glossiness chart is fixed while changing the fixing condition in a secondary fixation part 170 to a desired fixing condition by a control part 110, then, a toner image showing a plurality of glossiness adjusting charts fixed by the secondary fixation part 170 in accordance with the plurality of fixing conditions is formed on the recording paper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
