A ratchet tool includes a head with an engaging member rotatably received in a hole in the head and a recess is defined in an inner periphery of the hole so as to receive a pawl therein. A chamber is defined in a side of the head and communicates with the recess. A knob is rotatably received in the chamber and a biasing member is connected between the pawl and the knob. The biasing member is a V-shaped member and includes two insertions which are connected to a side of the pawl, and a peak portion which is securely connected to a protrusion extending eccentrically from an inside of the knob. The pawl is shifted by the biasing member when rotating the knob.
