The load ramp (2) is for movement of a load from one position to another, such as from ground level to a lorry or truck load platform. It comprises two longitudinal, parallel rails (4,6) between which is a first cross brace (8). This brace has a first arm (18) which at one end (10) is articulately connected to one of the rails. It has a second arm (20) at another end (12) which is articulately connected to the other rail. - The other ends (22,26) of the arms are coupled together in a joint. The load ramp can be extended or collapsed by the first and second arm rotary movement in the joints so that a mutual movement of the distance (A) between the rails is produced. |
