An embedder for embedding specimens in paraffin wax includes: a body having a paraffin reservoir for containing the paraffin wax; and a mobile dispenser disposed on the body, capable of being taken off from the body, and defining an inlet and an outlet, the inlet being communicated with the paraffin reservoir via a connecting tube so as to supply the paraffin wax in the paraffin reservoir to the mobile dispenser via the connecting tube, the mobile dispenser dispensing the paraffin wax via the outlet. With the embedder according to embodiments of the present invention, by means of the mobile dispenser detachably connected with the body, the embedder is flexible to use, convenient to operate, and high in efficiency.

1. An embedder for embedding specimens in paraffin wax, comprising:
a body having a paraffin reservoir for containing the paraffin wax; and a mobile dispenser removably disposed on the body, the mobile dispenser defining an inlet and an outlet, the inlet communicating with the paraffin reservoir via a connecting tube so as to supply the paraffin wax in the paraffin reservoir to the mobile dispenser via the connecting tube, the mobile dispenser dispensing the paraffin wax via the outlet, wherein the connecting tube is a flexible tube, and wherein the flexible tube comprises a flexible outer tube which is thermally insulating and electrically insulating, a flexible inner tube which is thermally conductive and electrically insulating and disposed in the flexible outer tube, and a heating wire disposed between the flexible outer tube and the flexible inner tube.
