<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content server capable of making passengers not to bring portable players and software, and also, capable of providing contents that the passengers want to view in the means for transportation such as an aircraft. <P>SOLUTION: The content server is provided with an accepting means 101 for accepting reservations of the means for transportation from a user terminal 201, a deciding means 102 for deciding a compression system when the contents possessed by a user are stored in a content database 200 on the basis of the reservation, a transmitting means 103 for transmitting the information of the decided compression system for the contents to the user terminal, a receiving means 104 for receiving the compressed contents from the user terminal, a notifying means 105 for storing the received contents in the content database and notifying the user terminal of utilization permission information of the stored contents, and a content providing means 106 for transmitting the contents corresponding to the utilization permission information stored in the content database to a content providing terminal when the notified utilization permission information is inputted to a prescribed content providing terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
