<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that whether national bonds and funds which may be generated in complicated and mixed states are lacking or not or whether the accounts of the national bonds and the funds coincide with each other or not should be instantaneously and surely checked because complicated transactions for the large amount of national bonds may be usually generated. <P>SOLUTION: A national bond transaction apparatus is provided with a fund account file and a security account file and each of accounts in both the account files has an estimated balance and a real balance. The national bond transaction apparatus is provided also a function for preparing the estimated balance confirmation information of the fund account or the security account on the basis of contract information, preparing estimated balance updating information based on the estimated balance confirmation information, preparing national bond settlement request information from the estimated balance updating information, transmitting the national bond settlement request information to a settlement institution, and preparing updating instruction information on the basis of settlement completion notification information transmitted from the settlement institution.
