<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable medical terminal unit which can be used even at emergency sites of high urgency, and loads a patient identification function, a biological information (vital data, a patient image and so forth) acquiring function and the displaying function, and to provide a medical support system by the portable medical terminal unit. <P>SOLUTION: This medical support system by a radio portable medical terminal unit is constituted of the portable medical terminal unit 20 which reads the information of an identification tag 10 which is formed at a part of a patient's body, medical equipment 30 which is loaded on a patient-conveying vehicle such as an ambulance or an emergency helicopter, and a medical facility computer 40 which is provided at a medical facility to which the patient is conveyed, and is used for referring data at the time of a medical treatment by acquiring the patient information. While the patient is conveyed, the patient information and the patient image are acquired by the portable medical terminal unit, and when arriving the medical facility, the acquired patient information can directly be transmitted from the portable medical terminal unit to the medical facility computer 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
