<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing pure water and a device for manufacturing the same which can stably manufacture ultra pure water with a low concentration of boron without raising the cost and preventing TOC (total organic carbon) from increasing. <P>SOLUTION: In the device for manufacturing pure water or ultra pure water which possesses a pre-treating means eliminating suspended material from raw water and a pure water treating means removing ionic or nonionic materials from the treated water obtained by the pre-treating means, an ion exchange fiber 2 selectively eliminating boron is provided at a latter step of the pre-treating means 1, and further, at the latter step, a membrane apparatus such as a reverse osmosis membrane apparatus 5 is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
