<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode immobilized with a thyroid hormone receptor capable of detecting precisely a bonding between a thyroid hormone receptor and a ligand as an electrochemical signal in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: This thyroid hormone receptor immobilized electrode contains the following elements (1)-(4): (1) a conductive substrate, (2) a bifunctional immobilizing reagent, that is a bifunctional immobilizing reagent having an adsorption portion onto the conductive substrate and two complex ligands coupled to a nickel complex or a cobalt complex, immobilized onto the conductive substrate via the adsorption portion, (3) the nickel complex or the cobalt complex coupled respectively with the two complex ligands of the bifunctional immobilizing reagent, and (4) the thyroid hormone receptor, that is a thyroid hormone receptor having a histidine tag, coupled to the nickel complex or the cobalt complex via the histidine tag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
