<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk apparatus in which aberration of converged light for a recording plane is hard to occur and jitter can be made the minimum when two light sources are arranged separately and consequently light from one side of the light sources is made incident obliquely on the disk. <P>SOLUTION: Two kinds of disks in which positions of recording planes 2, 3 are different are loaded. Light beams of the two light sources 4, 5 are converged by a common objective lens 8, and light spots are formed on the recording plane 2 of the recording plane 3. A skew angle θ exists between a center axis 6a of the light of the light source 4 and a center axis 7a of the light of the light source 5. When the objective lens 8 is shifted in an optical axis direction by a focus compensating apparatus, an angle α is given to a direction of a main flat surface of the objective lens 8, and this angle α is set to be less than the skew angle θ. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
