<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer replenishing container which has stable unsealing property and has lower manufacturing cost by using a seal member expandable and contractible in the width direction. <P>SOLUTION: The developer replenishing container has a developer storage part which replenishes a developer, a discharge opening for discharging the stored developer, and a seal member which seals up the discharge opening, and the seal member seals the discharge opening and has its one end folded back as a free end, which is led out through a restriction part restricting a direction orthogonal to the leading-out direction of the seal member and then drawn to tear off the seal member, thereby opening the discharge opening. The seal member is expandable and contractible at least at right angles to the leading-out direction of the free end, and the seal member is stuck on the periphery of the discharge opening by being drawn and extended so that the width orthogonal to the seal member leading-out direction when the discharge opening is sealed is larger than the restriction width of the restriction part in the same direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
