<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent beverage from being boiled down due to heat retention. <P>SOLUTION: A beverage container 14 is kept hot without performing extraction control separately from normal heat retention control. Reheating control is provided by lower power application rate than that of the normal heat retention control. A control means determines whether to perform the extraction control or the reheating control based on turning-on operation of a switch 25 or a temperature detected by a temperature detecting means in a predefined period of judging time after starting of heating by the heating means. When the temperature rises above a predefined criterion temperature within the judging period, the reheating control is performed.
