<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier capable of rapidly dehumidifying to a low humidity. SOLUTION: The humidifier 1 comprises a dehumidifying unit 2 using a Peltier element and a dehumidifying unit 3 using a solid polymer electrolytic membrane 23. The former dehumidifying unit 2 is provided with a thermo-electric module 9, cooling fins 10 and radiation fins 11, both of which are fixed on either side of the module. The latter dehumidifying unit 3 is provided with a cathode 24 and an anode 25, both of which are fixed on either side of the solid polymer electrolytic membrane 23, having a water holding member 26 consisting of fibrous or porous material capable of holding water and fixed on the surface of the anode 25. A drain of a water receiver 21 of the dehumidifying unit 2 using the Peltier element is connected with a water conveyance member 22 communicating with the water holding member 26. A conduit-form member or a fibrous wick and the like can be used as the water conveyance member 22.</p> |
