<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to unite a printing system passing through a plurality of printing processes such as ones employing machine plates and an image forming system for forming images on a recording medium by an electrophotographic system printing or the like. <P>SOLUTION: When color proofreading has been directed by a first printing instruction book, an MIS device 30 detects whether a DDCP 64 is connected through a BEP device 60 or not and, when the DDCP 64 is connected, outputs the first printing instruction book to the agent 60X of the BEP 60 and, when the DDCP 64 is not connected but a printer 68 is connected, converts the first printing instruction book to a second printing instruction book so as to output the latter to a job flow engine 60Z. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
