<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED type signal light device without generating wasteful parts and the need for changing of switches at the site, by responding to ranks of LEDs at the side of an LED display board. <P>SOLUTION: The LED type signal lamp unit 10, to supply power to an LED (a light-emitting diode) emitting lamp light for signal by rectifying a commercial power source P, is provided with a full-wave rectifier 30 rectifying the commercial power source P, a constant current part 40, and an LED display board 50 receiving power from the constant current part 40. The switching part 40 is to supply power to the LED by applying a reference voltage generated at a constant voltage element on an output semiconductor TR1, by receiving an output of the full-wave rectifier 30.
