The louver apparatus of the cooling chamber of diesel locomotive is mounted at the entrance into the cooling chamber and contains a louver with rotary folds, one end of which is hinged, and another is fastened to the connecting rod connected with the drive controlled by temperature regulator of heat-transfer agent. Proportional drive is used as thediscrete drive. Device is also equipped with the sensors of direction of motion and relative air speed.
