<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gypsum board which has enough adhesive strength between a surface material and a gypsum substrate while using a putrefaction-free glass fiber nonwoven fabric as the surface material, keeps the strength even in a high humidity atmosphere, and can be treated as stable waste. <P>SOLUTION: In the gypsum board having the gypsum substrate and the surface material, the glass fiber nonwoven fabric containing glass fibers as a main component and polyvinyl acetal as a binder is used as the surface material. Gypsum slurry is made to penetrate easily into the glass fiber nonwoven fabric during the molding of the gypsum board, and the adhesive strength between the surface material and the gypsum substrate is increased to suppress the lowering of the strength when the gypsum board is brought in a moistend condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
