PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular motor for an electric shutter or a blind in which the assembling state of motor components in a pipe can be recognized immediately, assembling work can be facilitated and the motor components can be replaced easily.

SOLUTION: A pipe 5 constituting the shell of a tubular motor 4 used for driving a rotary tubular core of an electric shutter or a blind is constituted of an assembly of two split bodies 5a and 5b.
