The present invention discloses a power conversion device and configuration method thereof. The power conversion device comprises a voltage increasing unit and at least two power conversion units. The power conversion unit have two input ends. An input end of the voltage increasing unit is connected to one end of an alternating current power supply, and an output end thereof is connected to one of the input ends of a first power conversion unit of the power conversion units. One of the input ends of the last power conversion unit of the power conversion units is connected to the other end of the alternating current power supply. The input ends of the power conversion units are connected in series, and the output ends thereof are connected in parallel. In this way, the voltage stress and the current stress of a switch device can be lowered to 1/n of those of the existing power conversion device, such that a switching loss and conduction loss are reduced, and an input inductance of a PFC unit with the same ripple condition greatly decreases, thus reducing the volume of the inductor and improving the power density. |
