ORGANIC EL DISPLAY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display which reduces luminance variation of each pixel and can reduce lowering of an aperture ratio to a small level.

SOLUTION: The organic EL display comprises: a light emitting part; a current control part for controlling a current made to flow through the light emitting part; a 1st switching part for performing switching between transmission and non-transmission of the current controlled by the current control part; a current detection part for detecting a transmitted and controlled current value as a voltage; a comparison amplifying part for carrying out a comparison of a voltage value corresponding to the detected current with a voltage value corresponding to an image signal and amplifying the resultant value; a 2nd switching part for performing switching between transmission and non-transmission of the voltage resulting from the comparison and amplification; and an image signal holding capacitor which is charged and discharged according to the voltage transmitted from the 2nd switching part. The current control part controls the current made to flow through the light emitting part according to the charging voltage of the image signal holding capacitor.
