FIELD: metallurgy.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of hot-rolled strips on wide strip mills in ferrous metallurgy. Heat-shielding installation comprises several consecutive sections with individual drive of their movement from the rolling table or to rolling table, in working position shielding cover above the roller conveyor. Sections are equipped with inclined baffles and in the installed above the roller conveyor working position are connected to each other to form above the roller conveyor continuous screening roof with a possibility of individual disconnection of the sections for their movement from the rolling table.EFFECT: reduce of height of screening surfaces location relative to the level of the body of the rolling table, increase of efficiency of heat preservation by the semifinished rolled products and reduce of cooling of its edges.1 cl, 4 dwg |
