<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently exhibit the performance of a reception apparatus for receiving a plurality of TSs by reducing a load of the reception apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the reception apparatus which selects digital data of a transport stream format from a digital broadcast including a satellite scheme and a terrestrial wave scheme and transmits the selected digital data in accordance with a digital transmission data rate of a cable television, the digital data in the transport stream format are multiplexed with a null transport stream in a transport stream format for transmission data rate matching, a plurality of transport streams are multiplexed as one digital data output, the data are received, and the received data are demodulated, decoded and processed to reproduce an image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
