<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap for a medical instrument with a luer taper and the medical instrument, capable of improving air-tightness and liquid-tightness and reducing stress on the luer taper. <P>SOLUTION: For the cap (1) for the medical instrument with the luer taper, in the cap (1) for which a mounting part (4) is projectingly provided inside a main body (2), the main body (2) is cylindrically formed and is provided with a first end part on a side close to a part to be mounted and a second end part on the side far from the part to be mounted. The mounting part (4) is projectingly provided from the second end part side wall surface of the main body (2), the distal end of the mounting part (4) is exposed from the first end part side of the main body (2), the outer surface of the mounting part (4) forms a flat part (5) on the second end part side of the main body (2), and a tapered part (4) tapered toward the first end part side of the main body (2) is formed through a step part (6) at the flat part (5). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
