<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead fastening method and apparatus whereby the initial lead of a wind can be fixed surely. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing method for fixing the initial lead (2a) of a wind in order to wind a wire (2) around a wind core (1) has a step for so guiding the lead (2a) as to extrude it from the inside of the winding core (1) to the outside thereof, a step for so pressing down the lead (2a) by a presser means (41) as to fasten it to the outside of the winding core (1), a step for winding the wire (2) in a clamping way by predetermined turns from above the root portion of the lead (2a) in the state of fastening the lead (2a), a step for releasing the lead (2a) from the presser means (41), a step for folding the lead (2a) from the outside of the winding core (1) to the inside thereof, and a step for further winding the wire (2) from above the folded lead (2a). By performing these steps, the lead (2a) can be so fixed surely to the inside of the winding width of a coil (68) as to be able to prevent the lead (2a) from floating and extruding to the outside of the winding width of the coil (68). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
