摘要 <p>Typical of the thermovision method for measuring temperature fields on the surface of droplet emitters of cooling towers with natural draught is that the temperature at the surface of the droplet emitters (2) is measured under real operation conditions of the cooing tower (1) by way of IR-camera (3), which is integrated into a protective enclosure (6). The acquisition of consecutive thermovision images (4) through time by way of IR-camera (3) at selected sections of the tower enables the detection of local temperatures on the surface of the droplet emitters (2) within the cooling tower (1) in such a way that the time and position information on the temperature is provided. By using the device for positioning the camera (5) it is possible to focus the IR-camera (3) on the selected surface section/segment, where the temperature needs to be measured. The digital thermovision images (4) obtained by using the IR-camera (3) represent the temperature at the measured segment of the overall surface featuring droplet emitters (2). The images (4) of the temperature field of individual surface segments are then processed with the help of a computer (8). There, the individual segments are integrated to result in an overall image, the resulting temperature field (9) is projected to the cross section of the cooling tower, where the droplet emitters are located.</p>
