<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized and weight-reduced portable power tool while protecting a printed circuit board and LEDs from impact from an outer enclosure part and to make an LED display easy to see by preventing a leakage of light to an adjacent light transmitting part. <P>SOLUTION: The portable power tool 6 is provided with: a drive part 2 for transmitting the rotation of a motor 1; a switch part 4 for instructing the rotation of the motor 1; a housing 5 for covering the motor 1, the drive part 2 and the switch part 4 respectively; and a display setting part 9 for displaying the state and setting of the power tool 6 by the LEDs on the printed circuit board 10. The outer enclosure part 5a for covering the display setting part 9 is provided with light transmitting parts 11 through which light is transmitted. An insulating buffer member 13 is interposed in a space S provided between the printed circuit board 10 and the outer enclosure part 5a, and the buffer member 13 is provided with opening parts 15 for allowing light from each LED 14 to reach only the light transmitting part 11 of the outer enclosure part 5a facing this LED 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
