<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for the skin which synergistically enhances the antioxidant effect, fully exhibits the antioxidant effect in small amounts incorporated, inhibits the formation of a peroxide lipid caused by the formation of an active oxygen in the skin, has an effect of preventing or ameliorating skin inflammation and skin roughness, and excels in the action of preventing aging. <P>SOLUTION: The external preparation for the skin comprises β-endorphin, a β-endorphin production accelerator, and an antiinflammatory agent. As the β-endorphin production accelerator, one or more kinds selected from an extract of Terminalia asericea, an extract of Hypericum perforatum, an extract of Calendula officinalis, an extract of a giant kelp, and rose water are preferably used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
