<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display with good light taking efficiency which can contribute to reduction in manufacturing cost and improvement in productivity by enabling batch formation of an organic layer to be interposed between a light emitting layer and a reflecting electrode to a plurality of sub-pixels while reducing the mask process number, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The organic EL display comprises a plurality of organic EL elements classified to at least three kinds of blue emission, green emission and red emission, the organic EL elements each including an organic layer having a light emitting layer, a reflecting electrode adhered to one main surface of the organic layer, a transparent electrode adhered to the other main surface of the organic layer.
