<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with voice guidance, where troublesome voice guidance is eliminated, and user's feeling of depression due to the hearing of the unwanted voice guidance can be eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding the image forming apparatus equipped with a voice guidance speaker, in an operating state with the voice guidance, the effect is displayed by a voice guidance executing hard key, alternatively, the effect is displayed on a touch panel together with a soft key, and when the hard key or the soft key is touched, the voice guidance corresponding to the operating state is performed.
