CAP FOR BOTTLING OF FOOD AND BEVERAGE EXCELLENT IN HEAT RESISTANCE (RETORT RESISTANCE), PLASTISOL COMPOSITION FOR CAP SEAL, CAP USING THE SAME COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE CAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastisol composition for screw cap having good heat resistance, sealing property and cap-opening property and to provide a method for producing the cap.

SOLUTION: The plastisol composition for screw cap seal is composed of (A) 100 pts.wt. acrylic resin component containing (a) 70-30 wt.% carboxy group-containing acrylic resin having 100-120°C glass transition temperature, (b) 30-70 wt.% acrylic resin containing 10-90 pts.wt. content being insoluble in tetrahydrofuran and having 90-105°C glass transition temperature and (c) 40-1 wt.% core-shell type ion-crosslinking type acrylate or methacrylate resin powder particles having 90-110°C glass transition temperature, (B) 65-120 pts.wt. plasticizer component composed of (a) 100-50 wt.% citric acid ester-based plasticizer and (b) 0-50 wt.% other non-phthalic acid-based polymer plasticizer and (C) 100-2 pts.wt. of the other component such as pigment, filler, lubricant and surfactant. The method for producing the screw cap comprises using the plastisol composition.
