IMAGING APPARATUS AND IMAGING APPARATUS CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out imaging without the precision of an imaging position decreased even when a paper kind or a paper size is changed for every job in a same tray.

SOLUTION: A nonvolatile storage means 105 stores a plurality of sets as paper profiles, each set consisting of paper attribute data which includes paper size or paper kind data of recording paper sheets, and adjustment data which includes one of a shift amount to the recording paper sheets at the time of imaging, a main scanning direction adjustment magnification and a sub scanning direction adjustment magnification. A control means 101 relates one of the paper profiles to each job and controls imaging on the basis of the related paper profile.
