PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of soiling caused by the scattering of a developer outside an image forming device, in the image forming device using a rotary type developing device having plural developing units. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a rotary type developing device D having a rotatable developing unit supporting member and plural developing units Dk, Dy, Dm and Dc and a fixing device T arranged below the developing device D and thermally fixing a toner image transferred on a recording sheet S. Then, the developing device D and the fixing device T are arranged so as to form a space Sb21 for heat radiation and attaching/detaching the developing unit at a space which is on a side opposed to the image carrier 16 side of the developing device D and at a space, above the fixing device T, and a developer housing tray 48 is arranged in the lower part of the space Sb21 for the heat radiation and attaching/detaching the developing unit. |
