<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular telephone capable of promoting diffusion of digital money by transmitting the same to a shop device by using an encryption means. <P>SOLUTION: This cellular telephone 32 speakable through a public phone network used in a digital money system, comprises a remote communication means 2 enabling the communication with a radio base station 31 for using the public phone network, a neighboring communication means 27 enabling the communication with a shop terminal device 33 installed in a shop 35, data information input means 6, 9 for inputting the data or information, data information storing means 25 for holding the data of digital money, a display means 10 for displaying the data or information, an encryption means 26 for encrypting the transmitted data, a decryption means 26 for decrypting the code of the received data, and a storing means 25 for storing an application program.
