<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antidazzle polarizing film layered body having high antidazzle property imparted and improved in viewing angle characteristics without increasing haze, and to provide a liquid crystal display excellent in antidazzle property and display characteristics by using the layered body. <P>SOLUTION: The antidazzle polarizing film layered body 10 comprises an antidazzle layer 15, a linear polarizer 30 and an optical anisotropic layer 40 layered in this order. The antidazzle layer 15 has an antidazzle plane having a large number of fine spheres formed on the surface. When the antidazzle plane is observed from above for spheric domains, spheric domains having 0.1 to 10 μm height and 25 to 2,500 μm<SP>2</SP>area possess ≥90% of the entire surface and a flat portion possesses ≤10% of the entire surface. The optical anisotropic layer 40 shows optically negative or positive uniaxial property with its optical axis inclined by 5 to 50° from the normal direction of the film. The layered body 10 is disposed in the display surface side of a TN liquid crystal cell 50 to obtain a liquid crystal display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
