<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably make a carry longer with a golf ball of this invention which combines dimples to maintain the lift in a low-spin range, a structure to realize the low spin and physical properties of components. <P>SOLUTION: The golf ball of this invention includes an elastic solid core and a resinous cover which covers the above solid core and is equipped with many dimples on the surface, wherein a strain amount generated when the load applied on the above elastic solid core is increased from 98 N (10 kgf) to 1275 N (130 kgf) is 3.0-5.0 mm, the above cover has the thickness of 1.2-2.1 mm and the Shore D hardness of 60-75, and the total number of the above dimples having two or more types is 250-370. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
