Disclosed herein are deuterated pyrazolopyrimidinones and drugs containing these compounds and the use of these pyrazolopyrimidinones for inhibiting thrombocyte adhesion and aggregation, for the purpose of long-term improvement of memory performance and learning ability and for use in the treatment of heart diseases and cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, pulmonary hypertension, erectile dysfunction and obstructive respiratory diseases (such as for example bronchial asthma). Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions of deuterated pyrazolopyrimidinones and the physiologically acceptable salts thereof for inhibiting thrombocyte adhesion and aggregation, for the purpose of long-term improvement of memory performance and learning ability and for use in the treatment of heart diseases and cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, pulmonary hypertension, erectile dysfunction and obstructive respiratory diseases (such as for example bronchial asthma), combined with pharmaceutically acceptable adjuvants and/or additives.
