The device has a case (1) in which an oyster is placed in a housing and is cut at its tapered end which is introduced in a stop (8) by a circular saw (4). The circular saw forms a compact unit with an electric motor (2) and a lever (5) at the level of its axis (11) and activates the lever towards the bottom to drive the motor and the saw in a rotative movement towards the top. The saw cuts and opens the end by a separator (14).
