<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply integrate the merchandise review functions of a review database into an electronic shopping system having a merchandise server, and to promote the will of the user of a terminal to purchase merchandise by providing not only merchandise data but also a review related with the merchandise to the user of the terminal when the terminal is connected through an electric communication circuit to the merchandise server. <P>SOLUTION: In this electronic shopping system, a merchandise server is provided with a merchandise database, and a merchandise data storing means for storing merchandise data and a merchandise data outputting means for outputting the merchandise data of the merchandise data storing means in response to processing request from the terminal.
