<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a reverse auction that allows a supplier group composed of a plurality of suppliers combined to make joint bids, a program for causing a computer to implement the method, and a server device. <P>SOLUTION: The server device 1 registers in a supplier group list 175 a plurality of supplier groups each of which is composed of one supplier or not less than two supplies combined so that all commodities included in items to be procured can be provided. Next, a bid by a first supplier to the commodities included in the items to be procured is received from a supplier terminal 3. Then the supplier group to which the first supplier belongs is selected by consulting the supplier group list 175 and the bids by the suppliers belonging to the supplier group selected are summed to calculate the bid by the group.
